Dr. Thiago Morelli
DDS, MS

Dr. Thiago Morelli is a periodontist and practices in Raleigh, North Carolina. He earned his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and completed his Certificate and Master’s degree in Periodontics at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Morelli is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, ITI. Dr. Morelli served as a full-time professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Dentistry, for 6 years teaching periodontics and serving as the Director of the Periodontology and Implantology program for five years. While at UNC Chapel Hill, he received multiple awards acknowledging his clinical skills and excellence in teaching.

 

Dr. Morelli continues to teach at UNC Chapel Hill as an adjunct professor and has authored numerous articles and book chapters in the fields of regenerative medicine, implant dentistry, genetics, and tissue engineering. He is highly respected in the periodontal and implant field and has received industry, foundation, and NIH research awards.

 

Since 2014, he focuses in optimizing the use of digital dentistry to improve treatment predictability in bone grafting procedures, implant dentistry, and diagnosing of periodontal diseases.

Conrad Rensburg

Conrad J Rensburg is CEO and President of Absolute Dental Services headquartered in the Triangle region of North Carolina. He graduated under full scholarship with a 4-year Baccalaureate degree from Pretoria Tech in 1992. He is certified with an ND in technology and specialized with an NHD in fixed prosthetics. 
He is a member of the AO, ACP and prestigious PEERS association. He is registered with the NADL, NCDLA, ADIA and certified by the SADTC.

He has specialized in fixed dental prosthetics with an emphasis on dental implants since the early 90’s. As a CE-accredited speaker since 2002, he has presented at hundreds of events across the USA. These include the American College of Prosthodontists, the PEERS prosthodontic association, the Academy of Osseointegration, Global and US symposiums, and a multitude of study club events. Conrad’s emphasis as a speaker is in keeping today’s clinicians abreast with the latest advancements in restorative protocols and digital workflows related to removable as well as fixed prosthetics. His courses also cover guided surgery and latched conversion techniques, screw retained restorative options, digital denture workflows and hybrid implant retained solutions.

As author of multiple published articles, his focus is on CAD implant design protocols, fixed hybrid implant techniques, digital removable dentistry, and modern-day digital communication.
