• Ceramic / Contour

  
  A full-time opening is available for an experienced Ceramist Dental Technician to join a stable and growing dental laboratory in the Wilmington, NC area that has built a reputation for providing exceptional quality and service to its customers. Absolute Dental Lab specializes in fixed dental prosthetics with an emphasis on dental implant restorations. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a ceramist/Stain & Glaze dental technician. Working with top clinicians, prosthodontists, and dental schools throughout the country, we restore many complex, combined, and fixed-hybrid cases.
  
  Must demonstrate an advanced ability in the creation of ceramic prosthetic restorations. This includes, but is not limited to, experience with Zirconia, Lithium disilicate, building porcelain, and implant restorations.
  
  This position requires knowledge of final contouring and glazing for all ceramic systems, with occasional layering. Experience with Miyo is a plus. Our ceramists receive a prepared sub-structure and are expected to create a restoration ready for delivery.
  
  Anterior restorative experience is an advantage.
  
  Must be able to finish, stain, and glaze to company standards.
  
  Must be authorized to work for any U.S. Employer.

• Experienced Removables Technician

  Full-time opening is available for an experienced Denture/Removable Prosthetics Technician to join a stable and growing dental laboratory in the Durham, NC area. Our lab has built a reputation for supplying customers with exceptional quality and service. Absolute Dental Lab specializes in fixed dental prosthetics with an emphasis on dental implant restorations. Working with top clinicians, prosthodontists, and dental schools throughout the country, we restore complex, combination, and fixed hybrid cases.
  
  We are seeking an experienced Denture/Removable Prosthetics Technician with exceptional skills who can work effectively both independently and in a team environment. This position will include both hands-on technician bench work as well as management oversight duties.  If you want to be a part of something truly special and are looking for a long-term career, this position might be for you. Our lab places a high emphasis on teaching and improving our technicians' skill sets. Although we believe in ongoing training for our employees, this is NOT an entry-level or trainee position. This position is for high-end Removables and requires a minimum of three years’ experience in removable prosthetics. Candidates with experience focused on full setups are a plus!
  
  Qualifications:
  
  5 years MINIMUM experience in Removable Prosthetics and full set-ups. Knowledge of materials, protocols, and procedures is an absolute must.

• CAD Scanning Technician Apprentice

Our campus in the Durham, NC area is seeking to expand its team of artistic technicians.
  
  We are currently seeking apprentices interested in entering the highly lucrative and artistically fulfilling world of dental technology. Candidates must have great dexterity, an eye for symmetry and detail, a passion for creating, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. • CAD/CAM Technician

  A full-time opening is available for a Dental CAD/CAM Technician. Absolute Dental Lab specializes in fixed dental prosthetics with an emphasis on dental implant restorations. Working with top clinicians, prosthodontists, and dental schools throughout the country, we restore many complex, combined, and fixed-hybrid cases. Absolute utilizes the latest CAD technologies, software systems, milling units, and 3-D printers.

  The candidate will be responsible for designing posterior, anterior, single, and multiple-unit cases. The candidate must have knowledge of tooth form, function, numbering, proper framework, and coping design for porcelain support. The candidate must have experience in Dental CAD. 3Shape software experience is a must.

• Digital Implant Coordinator/Technician

Our main campus in the Triangle is seeking to expand its team of artistic technicians.
  
  ​We are currently seeking candidates for our Digital Implant Department.  Candidates should have experience creating and understanding 3-D design/Auto CAD imaging and spacing, great visualization, a passion for creating, and know how to effectively work independently, as well as in a team environment. This position involves working as part of a highly collaborative team designing implant surgical guides for oral surgeons. Candidates must be self-motivated, learn rapidly, and possess a strong desire to excel professionally. • Administrative Assistant

  Full-time opening is available for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a stable and growing private organization in the dental laboratory industry that has built a reputation for supplying its customers with exceptional quality and service.
  
  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  - Assist in answering multiple phone lines.
  - Schedule appointments, deliveries, and pickups.
  - Provide administrative support.
  - Packing, shipping, mailing packages, and utilizing the UPS/FedEx system.
  - Provide production scheduling support.
  - Provide excellent customer service
  
  Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of experience. Dental knowledge or experience is a plus. Candidates must also be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and type 40+ WPM. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, a team player, well-spoken, and enjoy providing customer service. Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, positive attitude, consistent attendance, and the ability to multitask with attention to detail.

  Although this opportunity includes ongoing training, the right candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ clinical or technical lab experience. This position involves a mix of relationship-building and customer support, including troubleshooting and case planning.
