Dr. Maurice A. Salama

Dr. Maurice A. Salama completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1985 where he was a member of the University Basketball Team and nominated to the State of New York All Scholastic Team. He received his BS in Biology upon graduation.

He then went on to graduate school to receive his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.


Dr. Salama completed a one-year general practice and surgical residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 1989-90 where he was named  Chief Resident.


Dr. Salama later returned to the University of Pennsylvania SDM and received his dual specialty certification in Orthodontics and Periodontics, as well as his implant training at the Branemark Center at Penn.


Dr. Salama is currently on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania and Dental College of Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics.

Dr. Salama remains a Founder and a permanent member of the Scientific Committee of the world’s leading Online Dental Education Website


He is also a legacy member of the Team Atlanta Dental Practice which is a multidisciplinary practice world renowned for their clinical research in implants, reconstructive and esthetic dentistry.


Dr. Salama and his TEAM have published numerous scientific papers, book chapters and periodicals in peer reviewed journals and is often an invited Keynote and featured speaker at Dental Conferences around the world.

Dr. Christian Yaste

Dr. Christian Yaste is the founder of Ballantyne Dentistry and Charlotte Dental Implant Solutions. For 3 consecutive years his office has had the honor of being chosen as Fortune's Top 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare, an achievement he credits to the hard work and determination of his team. His vision is building success for his employees and finding solutions for adult patients who have complex and unique dental problems with an emphasis on sedation, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Yaste is a clinician, mentor, educator, consultant, and has authored a book designed to help patients understand the changes in dentistry over the past two decades. He is passionate about using technology to develop cost effective options and pragmatic workflows in the full arch guided dental implant space.


Jack Marrano, CDT


Jack is the Director of Absolute Dental Services Signature Prosthetics Division in the Triangle region of North Carolina, Jack a former Marine, started his ceramics career in 2002.  He managed the Implant, All Ceramic and PFM Divisions of MicroDental DTI. He was Director of technical Artistry for Lee Culp at Sculpture Studios Since 2014 before joining Absolute Dental Laboratory. He has completed courses on advanced implant restorative dentistry with Dr Carl Misch and has received a Fellowship from the Misch Institute as well as obtaining Fellowship and Mastership from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Prosthodontists and the prestigious PEERS association. He was also named LMT magazine top 40 technicians in the US under 40. Over the years Jack has been an integral part in the research and development of many of today’s top restorative dental materials. Jack has studied and restored cases with many of the world’s top clinicians. Today, he continues to work closely with Restorative Clinicians, Prosthodontists, University Graduate programs and faculty Practices from around the country.


Bushra Imam, BDS

Bushra Imam is the Clinical Director of Navagation at Absolute’s Dental Lab. Bushra is a GP Dentist. She graduated with honors earning her dental degree from Cairo University in Egypt in 2011 and earned her NBDE certification in the US in 2017. Bushra has found her passion in Dental Implant Guided Surgery and Digital Dentistry in 2014. Since then, she had the opportunity to help many oral surgeons, specialists, and general practitioners across the country and internationally in planning & restoring some of the most complex dental implant cases. Bushra’s focus in her work is providing a synergy between both the restorative and surgical element when planning for a case. Bushra has had the opportunity to work with different companies in the industry. She has worked and presented with some of the top clinicians in the country and has become an authority in the field.
